    The Importance of Knowledge Transfer to Industry

    The paper examines the specific knowledge universities transfer to industry, reflecting to creative industry needs. As results shows, the most asked alumni competences should be tacit knowledge and divergent thinking. Divergent thinking influence the creativity. Creativity is often defined as the ability to develop new and useful ideas, but in deep literature review, we can see few irregularities and different definitions of creativity. The paper also evaluates the importance of creativity from business environment point of view and from the creative industry perspective and creative firm owners. As point of view. Another key finding is, that to educate creative people will be one of the key competitive advantage, because mainly the ability to create and disseminate knowledge is often at the heart of the organization's competitive advantage not only in creative industry, but in transport industry as well.

    Universities have emerged as central actors in the knowledge-based economy. However, the nature of their role in regional economic development is less well understood than is often presumed. While the presence of a leading research university is a critical asset for urban and regional economies, it is not sufficient in itself to stimulate strong regional economic growth because universities tend to be ‘catalysts’ of technological innovation rather than ‘drivers’.

    The number of active instant messaging users shows the success of the medium and in the short period it has been available to the public. Especially among teenagers, instant messaging has become one of the most important communication means. The goal of the research is to find out, what are the reasons of using instant nowadays and how the using of instant messaging influence the consumer behaviour, communication habits and social inclusion.

    The paper deals with the problem of theoretical definition of cultural and creative industries in Slovak Republic. The paper also describes different approaches of authors and institutions dealing with the problem of unclear terminology in this field. Finally, paper consolidates the various definitions of terminology and compares and describes the approaches mentioned in the body of the paper.
