Item Prídavky pre zápustkové výkovky(University of Žilina, 2025) Melo, BorislavThe presented article focuses on the issue of determining allowances for semi-finished products manufactured by drop forging technology. The advantages of this method of manufacturing semi-finished products and its shortcomings are pointed out. The relations for determining allowances for this type of semi-finished product are published. The text is supplemented with diagrams of the layers of allowances on the surface of the parts.Item Tvárnenie plechu veľkou uvoľnenou energiou(University of Žilina, 2025) Moravec, Ján; Melo, BorislavThe paper analyzes an unconventional method of forming sheet metal parts with high energy release. Published diagrams and images together with a physical description of the process illustrate how this technology can be applied to form large-sized sheet metal parts at low production costs. The text presents important mathematical equations that are part of the physical description together with technological parameters. A brief economic evaluation is presented in the conclusion.Item Problematika logistiky pri skladovaní tvárniacich nástrojov a otázka opotrebovania činných dielov(University of Žilina, 2024) Melo, BorislavThe article deals with the specific issue of the logistics of forming tools within the company. The submitted contribution in a brief overview points to possible situations that may arise in the production process when applying forming tools. It is also pointed out the possibilities of solving the situations that arise in the production preparation stage. An addition is also pointing out the issue of wear and tear of active parts of clippers and their renovation.
