Item Možnosti využitia dronov bezpečnostnými manažérmi pri ochrane objektov(University of Žilina, 2024) Veľas, Andrej; Boroš, MartinThis article primarily focuses on the physical protection of objects through the use of drones, which falls under the category of security management. The aim of this article is to describe possible methods for property protection with drones or robots and to discuss the advantages, disadvantages, and barriers to their use. During the COVID-19 pandemic, security managers had to address the shortage of personnel affected by COVID-19 or involved in testing and controlling individuals entering facilities. They could not compensate for this shortage with regular employees. Moreover, due to the rising labor costs, they are still seeking effective ways to secure building perimeters. An interesting and promising solution is the use of drones, which is not as simple as it may initially appear. The article contains an analysis of aspects related to the use of drones for property protection from the perspective of opportunities, risks, and protection against their misuse.Item ANALÝZA AKTUÁLNYCH TRENDOV URČUJÚCICH SMER VÝVOJA BEZPILOTNÝCH PROSTRIEDKOV V CIVILNOM LETECTVE(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Butuk, Yosef; Ažaltovič, ViliamThis paper describes the current situation in the field of flying unmanned aircraft.
