Item Využitie moderných technológií v leteckej preprave(University of Žilina, 2024) Šimková, Sofia; Novák Sedláčková, AlenaThe Bachelor Thesis focuses on the analysis, comparison and proposal for improving the effectivity of air transport using automated check-in processes. The thesis analyses the characteristics of air transport of passengers, goods and mail, the digitalized processes in air transport, the baggage reclamation procedures and compliance with passenger rights. The Bachelor thesis also focuses on the analysis of laser scanners and RFID system and their comparison. Concrete proposals for the implementation of image scanners and RFID system for the efficiency of check-in processes at the M.R.Štefánik Airport are presented.Item Digitization of aircraft maintenance procedures(University of Žilina, 2023) Pätoprstý, Matúš; Bugaj, MartinThis paper presents the results of research on the possibilities of implementing digitized procedures in the environment of heavy aircraft maintenance and deals with the design and implementation of digitized procedures in the hangar. The object of the paper is the maintenance procedures in section 10/20 of the BMD department in the company ATB s.r.o. which performs maintenance on the cabin and fuselage parts of the aircraft. In the paper we analyze current maintenance procedures in the designated department and xamines the effects of digitized procedures on increasing work efficiency. It proposes the method and individual phases of the implementation of digitized procedures. In the first phase, a solution is implemented to replace the paper form of maintenance documentation, used by mechanics during maintenance, with their digitized form. The other two phases are described theoretically. The thesis identifies obstacles associated with the implementation of the proposed procedures and offers possible solutionsItem Analysis of new progressive diagnistic methods in the area of aircraft maintenance(University of Zilina, 2021) Supuka, Matej; Hrúz, MichalIn the area of aircraft maintenance, we commonly meet with the problem of corrosion, detection of which is one of the primary obstacles. Implementation of modern sensing techniques has a potential to bring many benefits. The objective of this work is to analyze technologies, their potential applications, and viability of switching to autonomous detection using computer aided sensing. Primary source of information were research articles from science databases such as ResearchGate and ScienceDirect. Available documents were analyzed and subsequently, useful information was extracted. First part deals with theretical knowledge about corrosion, based on which potential technologies were chosen. Those were then described, and their viability was analyzed, based on how well they could achieve our goals. Selected technologies have shown potential, however necessary solutions could not be found to enable fully switching tou autonomous computer detection. Although data acquired show many potential benefits that could arise from partial implementation of these technologies combined fith old fashioned visual inspection.
