dc.description.abstractThis work focuses on the modernization of the landing gear of the Straton D7 aircraft, aiming to identify the shortcomings of the existing solution and to propose a technically more suitable alternative. The concept of the modernized landing gear was designed to meet technical requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and cost constraints. Analytical methods and simulation tools were employed to assess the behavior of the proposed landing gear under various types of loading. Based on the analysis, a concept was selected that achieves improvements in mechanical strength, component lifespan, and operational reliability. Issues present in the original design—such as difficulties during ground movement and limited parking options—were successfully eliminated. The modernized landing gear is ready for real-world application and provides a foundation for further development, testing, and eventual implementation into the Straton D7 aircraft.
