Abstract

This research is concerned with the application of a Design of Experiments (DOE) during the execution of the Kudo test, focusing on the analysis of the influence of three factors: relative transformation, compression speed and range of forces. The aim is to compare their effect and identify their interdependence and potential influence on the progress of the test. Based on a detailed review of the available literature and an analysis of scientific databases such as Web of Science, Science Direct, Springer Link and ResearchGate, no relevant studies addressing this issue were found. Therefore, this research focuses on the design of an experimental approach and its possible application in practice. The findings may contribute to the optimization of test parameters and to the extension of knowledge in the field of mechanical testing of materials.
