Item Technológ - celé číslo 1/2025(University of Žilina, 2025)Item Ochrana kovových materiálov pred chemickým vplyvom prostredia pri ohreve(University of Žilina, 2025) Kantoríková, ElenaProtecting metal components from chemical influences during heat treatment is important due to corrosion, where metals can react at high temperatures and subsequently weaken the component. Due to oxidation, metals can oxidize, meaning they react with oxygen in the air. This process can create oxide layers that can be brittle and peel off, exposing fresh metal that can further oxidize. Chemical reactions can change the structure of the metal, leading to its weakening and increased susceptibility to mechanical damage.Item Hydraulický ráz a jeho aplikácie v tvárnení(University of Žilina, 2025) Moravec, JánThe presented paper discusses the issue of the possibility of forming metals using hydraulic shock. The first part of the text presents the necessary theoretical knowledge about the issue. The second part presents some solutions of this advanced metal forming technology.Item Analýza merania optickým 3D skenerom a výsledky merania bezšvíkových oceľových rúr ťahaných za studena(University of Žilina, 2025) Morovič, Ladislav; Bílik, Jozef; Havran, FilipThe paper explores the application of a non-contact measurement technique - optical 3D digitization (active triangulation/structured light method) - for determining the dimensions (outer and inner diameters) of seamless cold-drawn steel tubes. The paper focuses on three areas of steel tube measurement by 3D digitization: (1) evaluation of the measured values using two different measuring volumes, (2) evaluation of the measured values with different 3D digitization parameter settings, (3) Computer Aided Design (CAD) comparison. The outcomes of the measurements and insights gained provide valuable guidance in selecting the appropriate 3D digitization method for seamless steel tube measurement.Item Porovnanie systémov prenosu výkonu koľajových vozidiel s nezávislou trakciou(University of Žilina, 2025) Bučko, Martin; Samaš, Vladimír; Dižo, Ján; Blatnický, MiroslavThe article deals with independent traction rail vehicles, mainly the power transmission type. The advantages and disadvantages of different types of power transmission for independent traction vehicles are compared, including the use of a particular type in each category of rail vehicles and a schematic illustration.Item Method Yamazumi and its application(University of Žilina, 2025) Biňasová, Vladimíra; Mičieta, Branislav; Buzalka, Martin; Kasajová, MartaThe main objective of the contribution is to improve the selected production process in an electrical engineering company. In order to achieve the main objective, it was necessary to gradually develop the specified partial objectives. The Yamazumi method, which is subsequently used to balance the V03 line or explain the bottleneck in the production process, which in the case of the analysed line is a hydraulic tester. After balancing the line and distributing the workstations among the workers, it was possible to plan and carry out a test of adding a worker to the line.Item Združené voľné a zápustkové kovanie(University of Žilina, 2025) Moravec, JánThe article deals with the issue of metal processing by hot forming, in this case by forging. The text points out the supporting facts that influence the possibility of applying combined open and drop forging. This technology will become a good way to achieve optimal results. The theoretical and practical aspects of the analysed process are pointed out. One solution to produce a forging by combined open and drop forging is presented.Item Uplatnenie plánovaného experimentu počas realizácie Kudovej skúšky(University of Žilina, 2025) Savytskyi, Bohdan; Bílik, Jozef; Kotianová, JanetteThis research is concerned with the application of a Design of Experiments (DOE) during the execution of the Kudo test, focusing on the analysis of the influence of three factors: relative transformation, compression speed and range of forces. The aim is to compare their effect and identify their interdependence and potential influence on the progress of the test. Based on a detailed review of the available literature and an analysis of scientific databases such as Web of Science, Science Direct, Springer Link and ResearchGate, no relevant studies addressing this issue were found. Therefore, this research focuses on the design of an experimental approach and its possible application in practice. The findings may contribute to the optimization of test parameters and to the extension of knowledge in the field of mechanical testing of materials.Item Analysis of the use of agile project methodology(University of Žilina, 2025) Biňasová, Vladimíra; Bubeník, Peter; Buzalka, Martin; Kasajová, MartinaFrom the perspective of the main goal, the real use of agile project methodology was analyzed, and then the levels of knowledge and use of the mentioned methodology were evaluated. Areas for potential improvement were identified and proposals for measures were created to increase the efficiency of future project implementation. Most companies today focus on delivering quality and gaining customer satisfaction and in order to accomplish this, the challenge lies in choosing between traditional development methodologies and agile development methodologies. However, both these approaches have positives and negatives, making the right choice plays a crucial role while starting a new project.Item Systèmes de traction électrique modernes: avantages des moteurs PMSM dans le transport ferroviaire(University of Žilina, 2025) Samaš, Vladimír; Bučko, Martin; Gerlici, Juraj; Dižo, Ján; Blatnický, MiroslavCurrently, there is a growing global emphasis on environmentally friendly transportation, with railway transport being one of the most efficient and sustainable modes of travel. This form of transport is distinguished by low rolling resistance, which leads to reduced energy consumption for both passenger and freight transport. Electric traction, widely used in railway vehicles, can be categorized as either dependent or independent. Dependent electric traction represents an environmentally friendly solution, as it eliminates the need for petroleum based fuels and instead utilizes electricity drawn from the grid. However, this approach is truly ecological only when the electricity is generated from renewable and sustainable sources. Modern electric traction systems rely on electric motors, and this article aims to provide a detailed analysis of the application of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) in railway transport, particularly in the context of electric traction. PMSM motors are characterized by high efficiency and excellent controllability, making them well-suited for extensive use in railway applications. Their significant potential in this field positions them as a promising solution for future sustainable and efficient transport systems.
